Support Young Shakespeare Players East

The Young Shakespeare Players (YSP) East is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with no paid staff and no overhead. Tuition and donations to the company go directly to productions costs: stage rental insurance, costumes, props, make-up, sets, and a modest director’s stipend. Any additional funds collected go toward scholarships for actors.

YSP East is committed to the principle that no child should be excluded from participation because of the costs of tuition. The program offers scholarships to all families in need (currently 50% of participating families) and performances a are always free–making YSP East one of the most accessible youth programs in the region.

• The Community—YSP East offers free, high quality entertainment in a professional theater, and welcomes children and audiences from all over Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.At YSP East young people grow into critical and creative thinkers while developing confidence, and exceptional communication skills.
